Middle School Honor Band, Op. 8

Join 300 talented middle school musicians from across the midwest at the 2025 UW - Eau Claire Middle School Honor Band Festival! Students will spend the day in one of three concert bands, participating in masterclasses, and sectionals with UWEC Music Majors. The day will conclude with a performance on the Gantner Concert Hall stage in Haas Fine Arts Center.

Fees: The participation fee is $40 per student (no cost for directors) and is payable upon registration on January 24, 2025. Participating students will receive an audio recording of the Honor Band Concert, an Honor Band t-shirt, and pizza dinner will be provided. Checks can be paid to UWEC Bands. No school purchase orders please.

Directors nominate students using the online application. Applications are due Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Directors will be notified of selected students starting Friday, December 13, 2024. We encourage directors to nominate deserving student musicians in 7th and 8th grade.
