Join 350 talented high school musicians from across the Midwest at the 2024 UW - Eau Claire Honor Band Festival!  Students spend the day in one of four concert bands, masterclasses with studio faculty, and sectionals with UWEC Music Majors.  The day will conclude with a performance on the RCU Theatre stage at the state of the art Pablo Center at the Confluence.

8am - Performance by UWEC Wind Symphony and Symphony Band - RCU Theatre

9am - Honor Band Rehearsals

10:30am - Masterclasses

11:30am - Catered Lunch

12:30pm - Honor Band Rehearsals/Sectionals

3pm - Snack Break (provided by UWEC NBA)

3:15pm - Honor Band Rehearsals/Sectionals

5pm - Dinner on your own

6:30pm - Meet your conductor in designated rooms

7pm - Concert in RCU Theatre

Directors nominate students using the online application.  Applications are due Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Directors will be notified of selected students starting Wednesday, October 9, 2024. We encourage directors to nominate deserving student musicians in grades 9 through 12. Registration fees ($40/student) are due the day of the festival.
